My Christmas blessing...
God blessed me almost 3 years ago by picking me to be the mommy to this precious baby girl. Everyday she teaches me something about love, life, forgiveness, peace, patience, etc. I am so grateful for this angel. She is all I want or every need.

Next stop Strong Family Christmas
We had the strong family Christmas tonight. It was so great to see all my aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christmas... Take one..
So we start with our Christmas traveling by going to see my parents. We had the best day ever as Makenzie said;) She woke up bright and early and told her GiGi it was going to be the Best Day Ever and it was!!! Below are a few pictures from the gathering at my parents:
The big move
So during our blogging absence, Jason has finished school (Hallelujah..) I don't think my hair could have handled much more. I was having to color it almost every 2 weeks due to all the gray I was getting from full time work, full time mommy, full time cook, full time maid, full time wife/support system, and full time bill payer(with no money to do so with). Jason accepted a great job in Jackson,TN. We are still getting settled but he is loving his job and I am loving his paycheck. 😄
Our new home!!
Our new home!!
Try this blog thing again...
So I have been so caught up with everyday life I have not even stopped to blog about it:( I think blogging is a time where I can remember all the wonderful times so it is kinda like getting to do them twice:) so here goes another attempt at blogging. Wish me luck!!

This video is from a wonderful OBGYN in tupelo. His is a strong Christian and has taken the time to research and share his thoughts regarding initiative 26. This is a must watch if you plan on voting on November 8th.
My family and I pray that God's will be done daily. We pray everyone educate themselves and vote as God would compel you to do so.

My sweet boy
17 miles in 3hrs 25 min
Yesterday I was the water/ice girl for all my running buddies. Makenzie was the cheerleader and clapped for them the whole way. We then had a fabulous breakfast. Jason was on call and had a crazy busy day. We are so proud of him but miss him like crazy. Today, makenzie followed him around because she had missed him so much.

While the napped, I hopped on the treadmill to get my mileage (It is way too hot to run outside). I completed 17 miles in 3 hrs and 25 minutes. Not too shabby:) It was awesome because all my running peeps were texting the entire time with words of encouragement. Then my hubby took care of me and fixed me a nice ice bath! These 30 yr old legs are still mobile so that is good!

This will be one a shirt for Makenzie when I complete the marathon in October!! I love it:) Don't you?

J.A.R.
Just another run. Today I tried my best to get away from work and get on the treadmill during lunch but no luck. Towards the end of the day a running buddy text says she needed to clear her head so I committed to an afternoon/night run. Makenzie was feed and placed in the jogging stroller. I was not feeling it in the heat of 91 degrees but we did it. 3.2 miles and sleeping baby at the end. Time was not too bad either considering the heat. Afterwards we both had a clear head and I believe I am ready to face Tuesday:) Most may not think that is much of an accomplishment but Jason is on call tonight so that means he left at 4am and we do not see him until Tuesday at 5:30 pm. With a 16 month old toddler who is not walking but running everywhere it is a challenge to work 9 hours, feed dinner, walk the dog, run 3.2 miles, bath time, brush teeth, bedtime, then mommy eats dinner and blogs about completing. Ha! Now time for bed because I am one tired mommy.

My new addiction
Of all the things to become addicted to, I choose running. Could have picked something better I am sure but I am all in now. I have done a 5k, 3 different 10ks, and a half marathon so far. All these and a few more in the future to build up to the Run for Life marathon in October. That is 26.2 miles of running. Fast runners take 4 hours to run a marathon so I will be spending half the day running in October to finish. No matter how long it takes I will be finishing. The time limit is 8 hours so I will be done by then. My running buddies and I joke because of what we do for a sticker, t-shirt and a medal. I will be blogging about my runs for sure over the next few weeks. This past saturday we set out for an 8 mile run. I was mentally prepared for sure and talked by friend, Mitzi, into trusting me and going a little further. We completed our 9.5 miles run in 1hr 45 min and 10 sec. That is fast at least for us. I would even say that is Real fast:) I felt great even though that is what we call a short run. This coming Saturday is a 17 mile run. That is what we call a long run. I am still trying to wrap my mind around that number but I still have a few days. Happy Running:)

Long time no Blog
I have been such a terrible blogger lately. I am going to attempt to blog at least once a week. Jason's school is getting crazier for sure. He has started taking call so we are seeing less of him and he is definitely sleeping less. I am working full time and being full time mommy. Makenzie is the sweetest and smartest baby girl ever. We are blessed beyond measure and we are so grateful!

More Birthday Fun!
So after her nap we loaded up and went to the park. She loved it. The swing was her favorite part. She people watched (kid watched really). She loved to watch all the children running and playing around her. She laughed and as she swung.

Jason was able to get out early enough to meet us at the park but the wind picked up so we headed home. It was cake time though! At 5:01 pm we sang happy birthday to our princess and ate cupcakes. Makenzie has a sweet tooth just like her mommy and daddy. She was in heaven with the giant cupcake.

Could not get it in fast enough:)

I did not get a good picture of it but Sammiedog is on the edge of the couch just begging for her to drop some for him. At this point she was not sharing. But don't worry she dropped some towards the end and he got it in less than a second.

Sweetest Birthday Princess!!
