Kennedy's 3rd birthday

I can't believe my sweet niece is 3 years old. She is growing up so fast. We recently celebrated her birthday in style. Kennedy loved playing with all her friends and Makenzie had a great time with Kehle. I am so blessed to have such amazing little girls in my life. Happy Birthday Kennedy! We love you so much!!

Grove Fun 2010

Makenzie had a great year of grove fun. Sweet Ash even got to visit with us:) Ole Miss did not play very well, but we had a great time!! Hotty Toddy!!

Who does she look like?

From the day my sweet girl entered the world I have been told she is a clone of her daddy. Today I was told she looked like me:) It was from a stranger and she was probably just being nice. But her words were "she is adorable and looks just like you."

Shopping with Mommy

Makenzie is my shopping partner. I am still that mommy who will go pick up Makenzie from daycare as soon as I get off at noon and then go to the store. I know it would be so much easier to get the shopping done if I were by myself but I love having her with me. Her smiles and giggles make my world go round.

2 months

So I have not posted in 2 months. Those have been very busy 2 months. Our little girl is now 8 months old. Makenzie weighs 17lbs and is pulling up on everything. I love that she is always a happy baby:) He sweet giggles make my world go around.


We have all officially moved to Tupelo. I am working as the nurse supervisor of a clinic. It is a wonderful and challenging job opportunity. Jason is doing great in school. Sammiedog is loving that he has us all together again and Makenzie is adjusting well to her new daycare. We are so blessed and we know it. The only downside of the move is I miss my family like crazy.

I am gonna try and catch on posting over the next few days.

Happy Birthday Kennedy!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my 1st niece. I was so excited the day your mommy went into labor. I called into work and could not go back to sleep. Finally I headed to the hospital. It took awhile for you to arrive,but it was so worth the wait. I was so thrilled to finally get to hold you. You are so very special to me sweet girl. I love you with all my heart! Hope you have the best day ever!! We love you, aunt Lisa, uncle Jason, and baby kenzie!!

Our baby girl turned 6 months today:) We are in tupelo for the weekend. Loving spending time as a family and can't wait for some football!!

Good morning Monday!

Jason has returned to Tupelo for a few days. I never look forward to the weekdays without him. I heard Makenzie stirring while I was getting dressed so I rushed in her room to get her. This is my favorite time of the day other than picking her up in the afternoon. Below is what I am greeted with. Does it get any better than that? I don't think so:)

New toys

Say what??

So Jason took Makenzie to the doctor yesterday because she has had a nagging cough for a few weeks. Everything is fine the cough is just courtesy of daycare I guess. Anyway, this is the picture text I got while I was at work and the caption read:

Daycare Fun

Somedays when work is not too busy I get to go over and see Makenzie. These are my favorite days because an extra 30 minutes with my princess always makes everything better. Last Friday I went over and we played on the mat with all the toys. She giggled and laughed at all her friends and teachers. I love that she has such a great time at daycare!!

Happy 3rd anniversary Jason!!

3 years ago today I married the man of my dreams! I have enjoyed learning, living, and loving with him for the past 3 years. We welcome our first child, a baby girl, 5 months ago. Our love has just increased since then. I thank God daily for bringing my husband to me and for him picking me to love!!! This is one of the gifts I received today:)

5 months old

My baby girl is 5 months old today!! Time is flying by and she is getting so big. Makenzie is the happiest baby I know. She greets with the biggest smile every morning when I go to get her up. It melts my heart:) I get many more of those smiles and giggles throughout the day. She loves daycare, but loves it more when mommy comes to pick her up. We have been trying baby food for the past month and it is going great. Makenzie's favorite veggie is Squash!! We have not finished the fruits so not sure about that one yet. My child loves her toys. I am always wanting to hold her and she just wants to be laid in the floor on her playmat. Me and her still get in lots of snuggling though!

Movie night

We have moved Jason into his new apartment in Tupelo this weekend. Makenzie, sammiedog and I will be coming later once I find a job. I took off Monday so we are staying another day. Since we don't have any cable and Jason is studying for a final, I went to redbox and rented some movies. Me and sammiedog are snuggled up in the bed on our 2 nd movie while baby girl sleeps and Jason studys. I love being with my family even if that means we are just in the same house! I thank God daily for all my many blessings!!!
