3 Week Birthday

Today Jason and I took Makenzie to get some pictures made. It was so much fun and Makenzie did great. She was asleep for the first few shots, then got fussy because she was hungry, and then got full and opened those big beautiful eyes!! I hope you enjoy these. I have more to come but they are Easter related so I will save them for later!!

Makenzie's First Bottle

Jason has been waiting patiently for 2 weeks until he can start feeding Makenzie. The time came and he was SO excited. I think more so than the day we got married.:) Makenzie did great and had no trouble so now we will let Jason help feed at night. YAY!! That makes this mommy very happy!

Recipe Exchange

Here is a fabulous and not so healthy recipe:) We recently had it a my friend, Bree's bridal brunch. It was a BIG hit. Please leave a recipe if you have any easy and wonderful dish.

Honey Bun Cake

Mix together:

1 box yellow cake mix

8 oz sour cream

4 eggs

3/4 cup oil

1/2 cup sugar

Mix together:

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 tsps cinnamon

Pour 1/2 of the cake batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining cake batter over the cinnamon mixture. Bake at 275 for 50 to 60 minutes. Mix 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 3 to 4 tbsps milk (enough for moderate consistency). Pour over warm, not hot, cake.

Today we took Makenzie to see Dr. Les Jones for her 2 week check up. She is doing great. makenzie now weighs 7lbs 9ounces and is 20 1/4 inches long. I am so proud of my baby girl! She gained almost a whole pound since we left the hospital. YAY!! Jason and I are documenting everything so we took a few pictures of her first doctor's visit. ENJOY!

105 Lynwood Court

Jason and I are trying to sell your house. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with an open floor plan. Has a large backyard. A separate laundry room and office. Jason's favorite part is the 110 square foot shop in the garage that is heated and cooled.
